Cost of pre-event testing a concern: live event organisers

THE introduction of extensive testing may mean that large-scale events like concerts and theatre can potentially resume, but "live" event organisers remain concerned over the cost of pre-event testing and the higher ticket prices it might mean for consumers.
In Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's live national address last month, he gave details about the shift towards preventive testing for Covid-19 in Singapore. Such extensive testing would give Singapore the confidence to resume larger-scale events or gatherings.
