CPF Advisory Panel seeks public views on alternative investment choices
THE CPF (Central Provident Fund) Advisory Panel will be holding two focus group discussions to gather public input on alternative investment choices, said the Ministry of Manpower on Thursday.
The two sessions - one on July 29, and the other on Aug 15 - will seek views on how to provide greater flexibility for CPF members who wish to seek higher returns and are prepared to take higher investment risks, through private investment plans.
The feedback received will be taken into consideration as the panel aims to submit the second part of its recommendations later this year.
Its first set of recommendations - pertaining to future adjustments of the retirement sum, and the issue of lump sum withdrawals - was submitted in February.
More details of the sessions are available at www.cpfpanel.sg. Written feedback can also be submitted at cpf_panel@mom.gov.sg.
