DPM Heng urges US, China to rebuild trust, stabilise world order

THE US and China need to accept new realities, come to terms with their global responsibilities, rebuild mutual trust and bring stability to the world order, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said on Thursday.
He urged Asia to redouble its efforts to strengthen the rules-based, multilateral trading system that underpins its growth, and to work with the global community to uphold this system.
