DUBAI sure does not hold back once it has set a goal for itself. Ever since it announced plans in Oct 2016 to become the world's first blockchain-powered city by 2020, it has launched over 20 city-wide pilot projects across various sectors, involving both public and private stakeholders.
Dubai's bold vision rides on the increasing need for efficiency in government to consumer (G2C) and government to government (G2G) services as the city surges ahead with rapid development, said Dr Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, director general of the Smart Dubai Office.
