Egyptair passenger plane hijacked, forced to Cyprus

    [CAIRO] An EgyptAir passenger plane heading from Alexandria to Cairo was hijacked and forced to head to Cyprus, civil aviation sources and police said.

    The sources said the plane was an Airbus 320.
