[SEOUL] South Korea's health ministry said on Wednesday it had recorded eight new cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (Mers), bringing the total to 162.
The health ministry also said 19 people diagnosed with the Mers virus had recovered and been discharged from hospital since the outbreak began in May.
