French industrial output up 1.3% in January
[PARIS] French industrial production rose 1.3 per cent in January from December, beating expectations to reach its highest reading since December 2011, figures from the INSEE official statistics agency showed on Thursday.
Manufacturing output rose by 0.8 per cent.
The data includes a revision of seasonal adjustments and weights as well as of the baseline year.
Germany on Tuesday reported its fastest industrial output rise in six years.
