Funds will return when problems are solved, but adjust in the meantime: Zeti

BANK Negara governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz expects recovery from Malaysia's current economic malaise to be faster than during the Asian financial crisis of 1997-98 because growth remains reasonable but suggested in the meantime that Malaysians adjust and live within their means.

While the country is not headed for a crisis, a very challenging period looms which may require businesses to scale back, such is the reality of the environment, Ms Zeti observed in an interview with New Straits Times this week.
