Funeral arrangements
AS A mark of respect, the state flag on all government buildings will be flown at half-mast from Tuesday to Friday.
Former president SR Nathan's body will lie in state at Parliament House from 10 am on Thursday to 12 pm on Friday. Members of the public may pay their respects from 10 am to 8pm on Thursday, while diplomats and other officials may pay their respects on Friday morning.
A state funeral service will be held at 4pm on Friday at the University Cultural Centre at National University of Singapore. This will then be followed by a private cremation at Mandai Crematorium.
