Germany warns against easy-money policies
Finance minister's comments come on eve of G-20 meeting, setting the stage for a potential confrontation with Tokyo

GERMANY'S Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has warned of the dangers of an excessively easy monetary policy, and urged countries not to use foreign-exchange rates as an instrument to create growth.
The known monetary hawk, in an interview with the German news agency DPA, said: "The road of too-easy money finally leads to misfortune. We have to get more stability back into the financial markets."
