PUBLIC sector agencies and government-linked companies (GLCs) are implementing a slew of measures to draw and retain engineering talent in their fold, with many going beyond pay hikes.
Other than Singtel and Sembcorp Industries, which raised the starting salary for their engineers last year, most employers have turned their focus towards professional development and career progression.
