THE Hong Kong government ordered schools from kindergarten to college to shut on Thursday, the first time it's done so during the unrest as the prolonged turmoil saw a shift in intensity in the protests.
Hong Kong's Education Bureau announced that all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and special-needs schools would suspend classes on Thursday for safety reasons.
