HONG KONG's High Court on Monday upheld injunctions against the street occupation by pro-democracy protesters, who are facing increasing pressure to end demonstrations which are in their seventh week.
Court-appointed bailiffs are allowed to take measures to remove obstructions in parts of Mong Kok and outside Citic Tower in Admiralty district, Judge Thomas Au wrote in his judgment. The police are directed to assist the bailiffs and to arrest anybody who interferes with the removal of the barricades, he wrote.
