ANALYSTS are now more optimistic about Hong Kong's economy following stronger-than-expected growth of 4 per cent in the first half of the year.
In its Half-yearly Economic Report 2017 released on Friday, the financial secretary's office noted that gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter of 2017 grew by 3.8 per cent in real terms over a year earlier.
