India to 'Act East', and look to S'pore as launchpad
Finance Minister says reforms in progress, lays out welcome mat to investors

INDIAN finance minister Arun Jaitley on Friday said his country would transform its "Look East" policy into a more activist "Act East" policy, one entailing more engagement with the region.
And in this effort, he added, Singapore would play a pivotal role as a partner, by giving the sub-continent access to Asean and the rest of the world.
