Industry groups: disruption needs to be embraced

BUSINESS industry bodies say they are encouraged by the government's embrace of disruptive technologies outlined by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in his National Day Rally speech on Sunday.
They say that, at a time protectionist measures have been the response by governments around the world, Singapore's comparative openness toward disruption has been positive.
