Japan, China to hold finance talks on June 6, may discuss AIIB
[TOKYO] Japanese and Chinese finance officials will hold bilateral finance talks on June 6 in Beijing to discuss ways to promote cooperation between the two countries, Japanese officials said on Thursday.
Finance Minister Taro Aso, his deputies and bureau chiefs will hold meetings with their Chinese counterparts during the half-day event, the officials said.
The two sides may discuss the China-backed Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) if necessary, a Japanese finance ministry source said.
