Japan's August factory output falls 3.2% m-o-m: government

[TOKYO] Japan's factory output fell 3.2 per cent in August, government data showed on Thursday, compared with a median market forecast for a 0.5 per cent decline.
Manufacturers surveyed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry expect output to grow 0.2 per cent in September and gain 6.8 per cent in October, the data showed.
The government downgraded the assessment of the industrial production, saying it is "stalling."
