[TOKYO] Japan's current account logged a surplus for the 11th straight month in May, Ministry of Finance data showed on Wednesday, as a weak yen boosted income from overseas investments and a decline in imports narrowed the trade deficit.

The current account surplus stood at 1.88 trillion yen (S$20.81 billion), against a median forecast for a 1.54 trillion yen surplus.
