CORPORATE Japan sees China as its most favoured destination for exports and investment, a new survey has revealed, despite Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's promotion of the China-excluding Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) as the primary vehicle for achieving trade liberalisation in Asia.
The survey by the Japan External Trade Organization (Jetro) shows that just over 50 per cent of some 3,000 respondents among Japanese manufacturing and services firms that were surveyed chose China as their most favoured export destination, followed by 43 per cent favouring the United States.
