Kannan Ramesh appointed Judicial Commissioner of High Court
SENIOR Counsel Kannan Ramesh has been named a Judicial Commissioner of the High Court for a two-year term with effect from May 22, 2015.
He was appointed to the post by President Tony Tan Keng Yam, in concurrence with the advice of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Mr Ramesh, who specialises in the fields of dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring, and international arbitration, is the managing partner of Tan Kok Quan Partnership.
He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2012. With his appointment, the Supreme Court will have 13 Judges (including the Chief Justice), 10 Judicial Commissioners and five Senior Judges.
