MALAYSIA will arrange for key witnesses to be heard by Swiss investigators once it receives a formal request, said The Office of The Attorney General of Switzerland OAG on Tuesday.
This follows a bilateral meeting in Zurich on the same day between the Swiss and the Malaysian attorney-generals, Michael Lauber and Mohamed Apandi Ali. Mr Mohamed was in Zurich for the General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors from Sept 13 to Sept 17.
The OAG said in a media release that the topics for the meeting were the mutual cooperation between Switzerland and Malaysia and the 1Malaysia Development Berhad case.
