Lee Kuan Yew still in ICU, remains sedated
FORMER Singapore prime minister Lee Kuan Yew is still in intensive care at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), said a statement from the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday morning.
The 91-year-old is in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and remains sedated. He is also on mechanical ventilation, the statement added. His doctors have restarted him on antibiotics, and are continuing to monitor him closely.
Mr Lee, a member of parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC, was first admitted to SGH on Feb 5 with severe pneumonia.
