Malaysia arrests three suspects in connection with Bangkok blast: police
[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysia has arrested three suspects in connection with the investigation into a bomb blast in central Bangkok last month that killed 20 people, police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said on Monday.
Two Malaysians and a Pakistani national were arrested and were assisting with the investigation, Mr Khalid told reporters. The arrests were made after a tip-off by Thai authorities, he said.
The explosion ripped through a Hindu shrine in the Thai capital on Aug 17, killing 20 people and wounding more than 100. Fourteen foreigners were among those killed.
