Market doubts KL's budget tweaks go far enough

JUDGING from the market's reaction, it will take more than a tweaking of the budget to convince more sceptical international investors and analysts that Malaysia is prepared to weather the strong headwinds stemming from volatile oil prices and the battered ringgit.

Although fiscal and growth projections were revised on Tuesday to better reflect global economic changes in the three months since the budget was tabled, the changes have been deemed inadequate.
