MAS: S'pore well-placed to seek out new growth engines

DESPITE - or because of - fundamental changes to trade and business activities worldwide, the Singapore economy is well-placed to pounce on fresh opportunities, said the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Tuesday.
Even so, the central bank warned that Singapore's gross domestic product (GDP) growth is not expected to pick up significantly in the near term.
