MBS, RWS all set for Chinese New Year

WITH the arrival of Chinese New Year (CNY), Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) are ready to usher in one of the busiest periods of the year for the two integrated resorts (IRs).
The 40-day Chunyun (Spring Festival travel season) is known to be the largest annual human migration in the world. This year, an estimated 3.7 billion trips are expected to be made during Chunyun as Chinese head home for reunion dinners, and as many leave the country to escape the crowds.
"We anticipate being very busy during this festive period, especially at The Shoppes, which will continue to operate as usual on both Feb 8 and 9," an MBS spokeswoman told BT.
