Missing lawyer resigns from directorships
JLC Advisors managing partner Jeffrey Ong Su Aun remains incommunicado, but has been contacting companies to tender his resignation as their independent director

WHILE JLC Advisors' managing partner Jeffrey Ong Su Aun remains incommunicado, the 41-year-old lawyer at the centre of the Allied Technologies' missing S$33 million escrow fund saga has been actively contacting companies to tender his resignation as their independent director.
Mr Ong resigned with effect from May 20 as an independent non-executive director at Hong Kong-listed CW Group Holdings, giving the reason that he wishes "to devote more time to his personal affairs".
