Najib's Budget crafted with eye on swing voters: analysts

PRIME Minister Najib Razak made targeted allocations to potential swing voters in last Friday's pre-election Budget, which was notable for its attempts at boosting Malaysians' disposable incomes.
Analysts say they still expect his United Malays National Organisation (Umno) and the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition it leads to triumph in the polls - the date for which hasn't been announced - but say that rising living costs threaten to chip away at BN's support.
