New Japan econ min Ishihara: will carry out Abenomics decisively

[TOKYO] Japan's new economy minister, Nobuteru Ishihara, said on Friday that he would carry out the"Abenomics" policy of economic revival decisively after taking over the job from Akira Amari, who resigned as the result of a funding scandal a day earlier.
Mr Ishihara also told reporters that Japan's economic fundamentals were unchanged but that external factors were affecting economic data.
