New Zealand posts monthly trade deficit of NZ$433m in July

[WELLINGTON] New Zealand posted a monthly trade deficit of NZ$433 million (S$425.8 million) in July, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Wednesday.
The annual trade deficit narrowed slightly to NZ$3.03 billion from NZ$3.31 billion.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a monthly deficit of NZ$350 million, and an annual deficit of NZ$2.98 billion.
