THE National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) is targeting at least half of its 1,400 unionised companies to adopt its Progressive Wage Model (PWM) by the end of next year.
Currently, some 270 companies across 12 clusters have adopted PWM, resulting in more than 150,000 workers benefiting from the programme. Announced by the Labour Movement on Wednesday, beneficiaries of the initiative include professionals, managers and executives, as well as those in low-wage sectors such as cleaning and security.
