NZ protectionist politician Winston Peters appointed deputy PM, foreign minister

VETERAN protectionist politician Winston Peters was appointed New Zealand's new deputy prime minister and foreign minister on Wednesday, saying he would seek a greater voice in international affairs, including North Korea.
