PEOPLE'S Action Party (PAP) politicians paid tribute to the late Lee Kuan Yew on what would have been his 92nd birthday on Wednesday, saying Singapore's founding father can rest in peace knowing that Singaporeans voted hugely in favour of the ruling party in the latest general election.
PAP secured a strong mandate last week with a popular vote share of 69.9 per cent, up almost 10 percentage points from the 60.1 per cent it got in the 2011 election.
