PM Lee expresses hope that US engagement in Asia will continue

SINGAPORE hopes that the US will continue its rebalancing towards Asia and remain actively engaged in the region for years to come, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Washington on Tuesday (Wednesday morning, Singapore time).
Speaking at a state luncheon hosted by US Vice-President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry, he said America's healthy presence in Asia was welcomed by many countries in the region.
