PM Lee Hsien Loong arrives for first Leaders' Retreat with Indonesian President Joko Widodo
[SEMARANG, Central Java] Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has arrived at Wisma Perdamaian in Semarang for his first Leaders' Retreat with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, where they will discuss ways to advance the bilateral relationship and economic collaboration between their two countries.
PM Lee was met on Monday (Nov 14) by the Indonesian President and First Lady Iriana at the former residence of the Central Java governor, which is now used as a ceremonial hall. It was built in 1761 by the Dutch and Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of modern Singapore, was among the guests who visited the place.
