PM Lee: Singapore to work to keep US ties close

PRIME Minister Lee Hsien Loong says American voters have elected a president whom they feel best represents them, and Singapore "fully respects" their choice.
On his Facebook page shortly after Republican candidate Donald Trump's stunning win over his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, Mr Lee sent his congratulations to the president-elect, who will be sworn in as America's 45th president in January.
