THE closely-followed case involving City Harvest Church (CHC) founder Kong Hee and five others will now proceed in the High Court, with the prosecution having filed notices of appeal against the sentences of the six.

In a statement on Friday, the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) said that, after careful consideration of the written grounds released on Monday, the prosecution was of the view that the sentences imposed were "manifestly inadequate, in all the circumstances of the case".
