PUB seeks proposals for R&D water projects
SINGAPORE water agency PUB said it has launched a request for proposals for basic and applied research and development projects in the water industry.
Up to S$25 million from the National Research Foundation can be allocated for projects in two areas. An estimated 10 awards of up to S$2.5 million each are available.
The first looks for new ideas and technologies that can increase water resources, improve water quality and security, and reduce production cost.
The second area, introduced for the first time, looks for proposals that can accelerate the commercialisation and export of water technologies.
Interested parties have until Dec 8 to submit a white paper. More information is found on: https://rita.nrf.gov.sg/ewi/1601/default.aspx.
PUB added that companies interested in finding out more about projects available for translation partnership and support can attend a roadshow on Oct 11 at the Waterhub Auditorium. Registration closes the day before.
