AN INDUSTRY digital plan launched three years ago for the Singapore logistics sector has been refreshed, as the coronavirus pandemic has hastened the need for businesses to digitalise and for the country's supply chains to be beefed up.
Now, the plan has been expanded to cover air-transportation support services, given their similarity to logistics. The use of digital systems and real-time data will help such companies be more efficient, said Enterprise Singapore and the Infocomm Media Development Authority, which first rolled out the plan in 2017.
