Removal of HSR assets company 'could not be accepted'

MALAYSIA'S proposal to remove the assets company for the High Speed Rail (HSR) was one change to which Singapore could not agree, said Minister for Transport Ong Ye Kung in Parliament on Monday.
The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore HSR project was terminated on Jan 1 after agreement on proposed changes could not be reached by the Dec 31 deadline, after Singapore had incurred costs of over S$270 million.
