Robotic process automation firm raises US$30m to fund expansion

ROBOTIC process automation (RPA) software company UiPath has received Series A funding of US$30 million that will help accelerate its global expansion and product development, as it aims to turn itself into an artificial intelligence-centric (AI-centric) firm in two years.
Founded in Romania, the United States-based company on Thursday said the funding is led by Accel, with participation from previous investors Earlybird Venture Capital, Credo Ventures and Seedcamp.
