Scheme to encourage upgrades to less-pollutive diesel vehicles to be expanded

THE National Environment Agency (NEA) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) want to make it worth the while of diesel-vehicle owners to replace their older, pollutive vehicles with cleaner, newer ones.
To this end, the existing Early Turnover Scheme (ETS) will be expanded so that its cost benefits will reach more diesel-vehicle owners.
