Senior Counsel Hri Kumar Nair appointed as deputy Attorney-General
THE Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday the appointment of Senior Counsel Hri Kumar Nair as deputy Attorney-General.
Mr Nair, currently a director at Drew and Napier, will assume office on March 1 for a term of three years. He will be the third deputy Attorney-General at the Attorney-General's Chambers.
Senior Counsel Tan Siong Thye, a deputy Attorney-General since 2015, will be appointed as a Judge of the High Court with effect from April 1.
