MINISTER for Social and Family Development Chan Chun Sing, freshly returned from a visit to western China to assess the feasibility of a government-to-government (G-to-G) project, has said that the next step is for Singapore businesses to continue exploring potential collaborations with their counterparts there.
"This is important, as the project must be relevant to China's developmental priorities and be commercially viable. Singapore hopes to value-add to developments in the western region by enhancing connectivity within the region as well as connecting the region to other parts of China and the world."
