CALLS for the government to introduce an inter-agency application process for productivity-related schemes are not letting up. The labour movement joined the chorus on Thursday.

The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) said in its recommendations to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) ahead of Budget 2016: "We hear feedback from our unionised companies that there are many government schemes to support various objectives and this can be confusing for them. As a result, there may be under-utilisation of these schemes, which results in workers in those companies losing out in terms of opportunities or potential wage increases.
