THE government is forgoing S$132 million as it extends the Service and Conservancy Charges Rebate for another year, benefiting about 930,000 households.
This means households living in one- and two-room HDB flats will receive rebates to offset 3.5 months of S&CC charges. Those living in three- and four-room flats will not have to pay S&CC charges for 2.5 months and those in five-room flats for 2 months.
