THIS year's National Day Parade brought together Singaporeans of every stripe on Aug 9 - the young, the old, Chinese, Malays, Indians and almost every other race in a show of rousing solidarity that reverberated throughout the Marina Bay Floating Platform. The much vaunted venue provided the perfect stage for performances that included action on land, water and in the air. The show segments comprised six acts which represent our immediate past, celebrate our present and look forward to the future.
