Singapore firms tap Guangdong knowledge drive

Several deals signed during business mission to Guangzhou led by Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew

STOCK market rout or not, Guangdong remains attractive to Singapore companies, going by the deals signed during the 7th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) meeting on Thursday.

At the meeting co-chaired by SGCC co-chairman Lui Tuck Yew, who is also Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Defence, and Guangdong Vice-Governor Zhao Yufang, Singapore and Guangdong parties signed 14 Memoranda of Understanding to boost collaboration.
