GE2015: PAP teams thank residents early Saturday morning
[SINGAPORE] It may have been mere hours ago that candidates were able to call it a night after the last of the 2015 General Election results were confirmed, but the People's Action Party (PAP) was out and about again early Saturday morning.
The ruling party's teams were seen meeting with and thanking residents, after the PAP was returned to power by securing a strong mandate with a vote share of 69.9 per cent. The party won 83 of 89 seats, with the Workers' Party (WP) taking the remaining six seats.
